We have gone from having almost no snow, to being buried in it, to now Springtime sunshine melt, all withing a few weeks. March is likely the busiest month for us here at RISC. We typically have the most interest in bookings from prospective guests all year. And at the same time, we are conducting new staff interviews, ordering various equipment & supplies to get shipped on barges, booking seaplanes, ordering fuel, & supervising new float construction & continuous maintenance of floats & buildings. Oh & all the work we are doing on our bigger guide boats. If it sounds like a lot, it is! However, on the horizon is getting packed up & out of here for the summer at the lodge.

We are already bursting with enthusiasm & excitement to get out on the water! All reports are looking like we will have record returns again this summer, so anticipation levels are already running high for another excellent season in 2024. Many of our guests have commented recently how much they loved the fish that they sent to St Jean’s Cannery for processing. Well worth the wait & the additional expense!
