The food at our fishing lodge is legendary. Spending a day out adventuring in the fresh ocean air seems to increase ones’ appetite so we have great food & lots of it. Our fabulous gourmet meals & snacks are prepared by our professionally trained chefs using the highest quality ingredients to ensure you never go hungry. The dining room is adjacent to the lounge in full view of the boat pier, scale & cleaning table so you never miss a moment of the action on the dock. Adding to the camaraderie, guests dine on round tables at set meals times to exchange weather & fishing information, encourage sharing of fish stories & interaction of the group, & of course the crowning of the “king/queen of the tide” for the most “remarkable” fish caught. This is where friendships that stretch decades have been made. We serve three delicious meals each day in the dining room as well three snacks at the lounge. There is a full hot breakfast at 5:30 AM, lunch at 11:30 AM, & dinner at 5:30 PM. Hot soup is served at 11:00 AM & 5:00 PM & a hot snack at 9:00 PM. Meals are served buffet style so there are plenty of choices & options to satisfy individual tastes. Hearty homemade made soups, savory salads & delicious home baked breads are served with lunch & dinner. A packed lunch can be arranged the night before if you plan to travel some distance to fish or prefer to stay out on the water to maximize your fishing time. However, because of our close proximity to the fishing grounds most guests choose to come off the water for lunch & dinner. This allows you to unload your catch to be processed in a timely manner to maximize fish quality, to re-provision your boat or just take a break & stretch your legs. We can also put meals aside for you at anytime to enjoy at your convenience when your fishing schedule permits. The hot snack that is served in the lounge every evening after fishing is the crescendo to a day of great food, the highlight of which are our famous fresh baked chocolate chunk cookies. Our chefs are happy to cater to special requests & dietary needs with advanced notice. We do our best to accommodate all food preferences & requests within our means.
The meals were prepared to perfection. Hearty breakfasts to prepare you for the morning catch, lunches for those that choose to come back to the lodge, packaged lunches for those that choose to stay out on the water. Dinners that rival the meals in 5-star restaurants. All this in a postcard setting, meeting guests from around the world that share your passion for salmon fishing & the attention to detail that the staff provides … warm cookies before turning in for the night & hot water bottles placed in your comfy bed to name a few!
