Ryan’s Early Season Report
“The 50 p
ounder was caught at 7AM fishing close to the rocks at Dimsey Point. We were using a glow white hoochie & purple haze flasher at 53 ft. on the downrigger, in 90. ft of water. It was the end of the ebb tide that was doing the last push before slack tide at 9AM. The current had a lot of bait fish holding on the shoreline, as were the large feeding Chinook salmon. We hooked a Chinook salmon every time we passed the bluff. We got these 3 & nice ones let go a few others in the 15-25 range. It was a very productive morning.”
