The 2026 fishing season is upon us…Thanks to all who have booked fishing trips with us as well as the many who are already set for next season. It’s always good to have a fishing trip to look forward to. We are very fortunate to have our regular crew back to enjoy the amazing adventure with you to our destination fly-in fishing lodge. Definitely memories are made of this, & once again we have guests returning with family & friends some of whom first came to the Sportsman’s Club to fish in the 1980’s…Barbara first opened the lodge in 1984 & has wonderful memories of all seasons since then.

The lodge is looking pristine after the rig up maintenance which takes care of wear & tear from stormy weather during the winter. Sportsman’s Club floats have been towed across Rivers Inlet float by float from Sunshine Bay to Sportsman’s Bay. The professional mechanics have tested all the Yamaha motors on a recent fly-in visit from Port Boat House alongside our lodge mechanic, Ben. Dock manager Jorden is in charge of all navigational equipment. Zach is assistant manager & has a group of our (5) guides to ensure that guests’ fish are processed. Last but not least, Rory is lodge manager who is doing a mighty job.

Our two chefs, four dock hosts & four housekeepers will ensure that you are well looked after, from feeding you delicious meals, to ensuring that you have all you need to fish, & looking after your rooms & comfort.
