Our First Chum Salmon!

I have been to The Sportsman’s Club many times over the years, with my trusty partner Lorna, but this was the first trip with my youngest son Ash. He lives in the UK so this trip was like going to another world for him, a trip to Jurassic Park! The abundant wildlife is always a favorite of Lorna’s and was a real thrill for Ash. Great times together on the water as always and we caught the first Chum salmon I have ever seen up there. Sent to the cannery as I understand they are excellent for canning or smoking. All in all another great trip. Filled the freezer and now that Ash has the fishing bug he can’t wait to get back! A very special thanks to Barbara Kelly for organizing everything.
